Consequently, there are many different mindsets on what healthy living really is. Some take very little heed to the notion while others take it to a radical extreme. Guess what? Both approaches are okay. Especially important here, is knowing that your health is a very personal decision.
Holistic Healthy Living
Some folks like a completely holistic approach. Either that means eating only healthy foods or it could be extremely strict (all organic foods, cleaners, fabrics, furniture and more) or anywhere in between. There’s a whole lot of variance around different levels of “healthy”. Because of this, please remember…there is no one right or wrong way.
Maybe, healthy living means something in regard to your physical fitness. Because exercise and a commitment to a fit body is critical and expected, perhaps you don’t feel healthy living can be absent of this component. Furthermore, for some individuals extreme physical fitness is just what it takes to make them feel really jazzed about their health! That’s totally awesome if that’s your healthy living mentality.
Of course, we wouldn’t be honest, if the discussion of healthy living didn’t circle back to medicinal treatments versus natural treatments. Especially relevant is that it’s important for us to take a step back and remind our readers, everything has it’s place when it’s used correctly.
It seems often when the subject of natural health is broached some will assume you’re downing traditional healthcare. Please remember, that is not the case here.
Natural Health Post is here to help us all learn and grow together. We will learn new avenues of healthy pursuit together. I will share my studies and my practices with you as well as much of the research that I uncover along the way.
Natural health methods and remedies can sometimes replace other therapies. However, with proper guidance of knowledgeable professionals, you can combine natural and traditional methods. Perhaps you can lessen side effects, take less medication and have a fuller life. At a minimum, natural treatment approaches can complement necessary medicinal approaches. While this can often lead to much better outcomes and/or a total change in the medicinal approach necessary, you should never make plan of care changes without the advice and input from your personal healthcare provider.
Because all treatments, both natural and traditional, had their beginnings in nature, it is important to note that even natural treatment methods can have side effects. Therefore, just like with traditional medicine, it can take a bit to figure out the perfect combination. Sometimes it can be difficult to find the exact dose or just the right combination of therapies, because each one of us is an individual and our bodies deserve to be treated as such.
Healthy Living and Modern Medicine
There are times you will need the modern medicine world. For instance, there are necessary surgeries. Also, there are emergency medical treatments needed at certain times. A noteworthy consideration is that there are times when you should turn first to modern medicine then wean to natural approaches.
Again, work with your primary healthcare provider to maximize your healthy living approach.
All that said, there is no right or wrong choice. It’s a matter of personal choice.
We are here to share with you the many opportunities that the natural health approach brings to healthy living. We will talk about therapies, benefits, complimentary approaches and much more.
Natural Health Methods and Healthy Living
There are also many times you can use natural health methods to accomplish the same and/or get even better results than traditional medicine. However, there are times like surgery, when the traditional approach should happen first and then use nature to help in healing and pain relief. Just like in nature….everything is about balance. Healthy living is no different. A healthy life is a balanced life.
